All measurements are in cm. Please allow a tolerance +/- 1cm for each measurement. 

At Sunny Seas, we want you to be completely stoked with your adventure apparel. But let's be real, sometimes you just can't tell if something's the right fit until you try it on. That's why we offer a totally boss 14-day returns policy (meaning you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return). 

So if your gear isn't cutting it, send it back to us within 14 days and we promise not to hold a grudge. We'll just take your gear back, wish you well, and send you on your way. And hey, if you do decide to come back to us, we'll be waiting with open arms (and a fresh batch of adventure apparel) to make things peachy. 

Please note, we do not offer Returns or Refunds for Mystery Shirt sales – It’s a mystery for a reason! Embrace the surprise, and if it’s not exactly your vibe, consider it a conversation starter.

How do I return an item?

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@sunnyseas.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll direct you on where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We do our best to process refunds as soon as they are received but please allow up to 5 business days for returns to be processed. You will receive email notification of the status of your refund once finalised.

On the receipt of the returned items, we will do a quick review and once cleared, you will receive a refund for the purchase price (excluding original shipping cost) directly to the original method of payment used for purchase. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Sorry, we do not refund initial shipping charges for items returned, other than for faulty items. Sunny Seas is not liable for the loss of garments being returned. We recommend using a traceable delivery method and taking note of your tracking number.

Do I have to pay for shipping the return?

Subject to our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law or similar legislation, for any return you will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items. If the package does not reach us safely we will not be able to complete the refund. We recommend sending via a traceable method for peace of mind and to retain proof of postage until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed.

What if my item is faulty?

We’re sorry if an item you have received is not in perfect condition. Whilst we do our best to ensure all items are inspected prior to sending, there is always room for error. We appreciate being notified immediately if our product isn’t up to standard. If you believe your item is faulty, please email hello@sunnyseas.com.au with the following:

  • Your name; and 
  • Order number; and 
  • Images of the fault for review.

If the item is deemed as having a manufacturer’s fault, you will not incur any additional costs and will be offered a replacement item or refund.

We unfortunately cannot replace an item once it has been worn / washed or used, or after 14 days from receiving your item.

Please refer to our product page for all directions on caring for your garments. Sunny Seas is not liable for any damaged products due to incorrect care, wash or wear.

We will meet our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law or similar legislation which may include replacing the item if the stock is available or giving you a refund upon receiving your faulty item back. Our Customers are very important to us and we want them to be happy with their purchases from us.

What If I Receive an Incorrect Item?

If you have received an item you did not order or are missing an item you ordered, please email us at hello@sunnyseas.com.au so we can get your order sorted as soon as possible.

Can I get an exchange?

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is received and accepted by us, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Non-returnable items?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
